Catch up with your MNSAH friends over mimosas and breakfast at our upcoming annual meeting! For a change of pace, and to avoid rush hour traffic and nighttime driving, the annual meeting will be held on a Saturday morning.
Following breakfast and a brief business meeting, our keynote speaker, Curator Cheryll Fong, will speak about a current exhibit titled, “Making Room: Women’s Histories from the Northwest Architectural Archives.”
Among the vast holdings of the Northwest Architectural Archives at the University of Minnesota are the histories of women in architecture whose talents have enriched the field in countless ways. Many of these women, particularly those who were educated and practiced during the early decades of the 20th century, are little known today. Cheryll’s talk will shine a light on these talented and determined women who made room for themselves in a field once reserved exclusively for men.
