Mayurqais the journal of the Department of Historical Sciences and Theory of the Arts of the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain), founded in 1968. Its scope encompasses a wide range of topics, methodologies and geographical areas concerning History of Art and Architecture, as well as general History.
The journal is indexed in the scientific journal databases such as DOAJ, WorldCat, MIAR, Dialnet, Regesta Imperii, Biblioteca Virtual Red CSIC, CIRC and Latindex.
The reception of originals for issue 8 of Mayurqajournal, that will be published in September 2026, is now open. Submissions are welcome for the sections “Miscellaneous”, “Documents” and “Reviews”. The deadline for submitting originals is April 30, 2025.
