Prof. Li Xiangning, a distinguished full professor in architectural history, theory and criticism at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP), Tongji University (Shanghai, P. R. China), invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowships. Successful applicants will work together with Prof. Li and his team on a new research/editorial project named "Perspectives in Architecture and Urbanism." Competent candidates from the fields of architecture and other related fields are welcome to apply.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible, candidates should hold a doctoral degree in architecture or related disciplines or have already fulfilled all the obligations for obtaining their doctoral degree by March 2025. Furthermore, candidates should be native English speakers; Prior knowledge of Mandarin is not required.
The new post-doctoral fellows are expected to join the editorial team of the academic journal Perspectives in Architecture and Urbanism working on every activity connected to its editorial and publication processes.

Contract and Timeline
Successful applicants will be eligible for a 24-month/36-month contract starting as soon as possible after selection - according to the candidates' previous obligations and engagements - and in any case, no later than March 1, 2025.
Remuneration and Benefits
On average, the annual salary for post-doctoral positions at CAUP is 300,000 RMB (tax and insurance included). Besides the salary, Tongji University also offers housing allowances and complimentary annual physical examination. The CAUP provides an annual allowance of 10,000 RMB for the duration of the fellowship.
