SAH Archipedia: Maryland's 100 Classic Buildings Completed

The Society of Architectural Historians is pleased to announce the completion of Maryland's 100 Classic Buildings on SAH Archipedia. State coordinators Lisa P. Davidson and Catherine C. Lavoie, along with other authors, have contributed entries for 100 of the state's most representative buildings and sites. This content also features over 30 linked entries highlighting individual structures comprising Maryland's significant neighborhoods such as Belair at Bowie, transportation networks including the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, and other historic sites.

SAH Archipedia is an interactive, media-rich online encyclopedia of American architecture developed by the Society of Architectural Historians in collaboration with the University of Virginia Press. Over 18,000 building histories, photographs, maps, and essays from the Society's award-winning Buildings of the United States series are available online to SAH members and institutional subscribers in SAH Archipedia. Its open access counterpart, SAH Archipedia Classic Buildings, is available to the public at sah-archipedia.org and contains 100 of the most representative buildings of each state and lesson plans.
