The American Academy in Rome is pleased to announce the 2016-17 Rome Prize Winners and Italian Fellows. A complete list of this years winners can be found in the attached press release.
The Academy awards the Rome Prize to a unique group of artists and scholars every year. Selected by independent juries through a national competition process, they are invited to Rome and provided with the time and space to think and pursue their individual work as part of a unique and dynamic international community.
Included among this years winners
Stella Nair.
Stella Nair was awarded an eleven-month Rome Prize in Historic Preservation and Conservation. She
is an Assistant Professor, Department of Art History, University of California, Los Angeles. She
is a member of the Society of Architectural Historians.
