Michelangelo Sabatino Named 2025 Honorary Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada

SAH member Michelangelo Sabatino was named one of five 2025 Honorary Fellows being inducted in the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the RAIC College announced Friday, March 7.

An Honorary Fellow of the RAIC College is an Honorary Member of the RAIC who has achieved international professional eminence or has rendered distinctive service to the profession or to the community at large, nationally or internationally. Nomination and advancement to Honorary Fellowship is administered by the RAIC College. Honorary Fellowship is bestowed for life and is one of the highest honours the RAIC can confer upon a non-member.

Michelangelo has been a member of SAH for 25 years. He served as Director on the SAH Board from 2013 to 2016, and has planned and participated in many fundraisers for the organization. He won SAH's Alice Davis Hitchcock Book Award in 2012 and has served on several SAH publication award selection committees.

The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) is a not-for-profit, national organization dedicated to representing architects and architecture since 1907.
