SAH Introduces Cell Phone Tour of Chicago Skyscrapers

by User Not Found | Jun 29, 2012
SAH has created an innovative walking tour using smart cell phone technology.
For its Annual Meeting in Chicago (April 21-25), SAH has installed signs in the lobbies of ten early downtown skyscrapers that display Microsoft tags like the one to the left.  When the tag is photographed using a free application for a web-enabled phone, building visitors will be able to download a whole history of the building onto their cell phone.

To access the SAH tour of Early Chicago Skyscrapers, download the free Microsoft application for your cell phone at http://gettag.mobi. Then photograph a building tag (example at left) either on the SAH website or on one of the signs in the lobby of a featured building. Or, access a Google Map containing all the information.
